This morning Mum and I had a conversation like this:

Mum: WANT TO SEE A MOVIE TODAY?
Me: SURE. LET'S SEE ANGELS + DEMONS *snicker* hidden agenda
Mum: WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
Me: UM IDK, TOM HANKS? AND THE VATICAN?
Mum: LOL WHATEVER OK

So, obviously I wanted to see the film because of my new found blonde man obsession, discussed here (HOW DO I NOT HAVE A BLONDE MAN TAG? UNACCEPTABLE), but I didn't say that. We saw the film, giggled the whole way through at the absurdity of it all (more about that in a moment), and then, as the credits roll, she turns to me and says, no lie:


"THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THAT MOVIE

WAS THAT THE BLONDE GUY DIDN'T DIE"


I'm not fucking joking, I LOLed so hard, and she was all WHAT? WHAT DID I SAY? And I just was like HMM I WONDER WHERE I GET IT FROM. Hilarious.

The film itself was pretty lulzy, as I said, we giggled the whole way through at all the clichés and Tom Hanks' terrible acting (I didn't see the first film or read the books, but he is WAY TOO OLD for that character), we called Ewan being the evil one about half an hour into the film, etc...

But I did like the international cast:



obviously, I love DaddySkars & Thure, all the Italian police fellows were cool, the 'physicist' wasn't bad and the assassin dude was pretty hot. And Ewan looked fucking fabulous in the frock. Mum and I were talking about it afterwards and I was like IDK IF I FEEL RIGHT LUSTING AFTER EWAN IN A PRIEST FROCK and Mum was all LOL WE ARE ATHEISTS YOU FOOL hahahaha. And I am seriously jumping on the GETINMYTROUSERS train when it comes to Thure, HE'S JUST SO BLONDE. LOOK:

And he's in this recent film with Mads Mikkelsen (♥) called Flame & Citron which appears to have been released in the UK, but not yet in Aus :(



It's about two resistance fighters in the Holger Danske during WWII, true story, looks good (ALTHOUGH THURE'S HAIR IS RED D:):



Looks like a good story and tbh I am just looking forward to seeing Thure and Mads in a film together...

Watched Kings, LOL, this show is deteriorating more, which is disappointing, I would like to see it end on a high note, but it's so incredibly ham-fisted and I have finally looked beyond my lust for David and have realised that he is pathetic. And that Jack and Rose are really the true saving grace of the show, as per usual (JACK DISCUSSING SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS, LOL FOREVER)

And one last thing - at the cinema today, I saw the poster for Inglourious Basterds and almost wet myself I was so excited:



Obviously, it was in English, not Italian, BUT LOOK AT THAT FUCKING POSTER. The entire advertising campaign for this film has been awesome. I am so psyched for August to come!!

Okiedokie, off to watch Roger (hopefully) win, although tbh I really like Andy Roddick, he's like this ADD kid with a tennis racquet, he's always lulzy in interviews AND he beat Murray. Just hoping it's a good match.
