1. I AM OFFICIALLY SPENDING WAY TOO MUCH TIME ON TUMBLR AND FEEL AS THOUGH I AM NEGLECTING MY BELOVED LJ. IN SPITE OF THE GIF POST.

2. In case you missed it when it was posted all over the place earlier, The Guardian actually did something which pleased me for once and ran a piece containing the following:

The unluckiest actor of all, however, is Alexander Skarsgård. Equally brilliant as the icy moral centre of Generation Kill and the devious, devilish Eric in True Blood, he found himself without any nominations at all. When Jon Cryer and Charlie Sheen can still find themselves nominated for the execrable Two and Half Men the omission of Skarsgård feels like the biggest oversight of all.

WORD TO THE MOTHERFUCKING STREET, YO.

The fail that was no BSG nominations was also mentioned, as was True Blood and the possibility that GK wouldn't win because the Emmys hate David Simon. Or whatever. The full article is here.

4. I am offically bored of being back in Australia and miss London terribly - had an appointment at the British Consulate yesterday and sent a whole heap of stuff down to Canberra, so all going well, I will be back there by late August/early September.

5. Given that I am bored, I did a meme. I WROTE ESSAYS. Deal with it.
